As for a more recent attack, Josephine Smith was charged with felony aggravated battery on an elderly person back in September 2011 when she was only 22.
You might ask yourself what does this attack have to do with a vampiric murder, however I want to emphasize today on the type of people who believe they are vampires and go out looking for blood.
Before she assaulted the 68 year old homeless man she had befriended at a strip mall, she told him: “I am a vampire and I`m going to eat you”.
And try she did, biting him on the face and arms. According to the affidavit of her arrest she successfully removed the first lair of skin on his arms and caused other wounds to his face.
The man managed to escape her and dialed 911 from a nearby gas station.
He was later taken to the hospital because he required stitches.
When the police interrogated her, Josephine Smith claimed she didn`t remember what happened.
