Back in Nov. 2017 I was writing about a horrific case that happened in Russia – a young man by the name of Dmtry Luchin had murdered his partner and proceeded to eat parts of her body accompanied by a glass of her blood.
The trial that followed in 2018 brought to light even more disturbing facts.
Drawing inspiration from the internet articles he had become obsessed with in the months prior to the gruesome act, he drew a pentagram [in her blood] on the front door of her home and proceeded to try and summon the devil.
After waiting for 5min for something to happen he took to smashing a wine bottle repeatedly over her head before dismembering her body with a meat cleaver.
The romantic dinner he had used as a ploy to get himself invited over that night turned out to be a bloody dinner for one – the murderer turned cannibal and vampire after sexually assaulting her corpse.
Perhaps most disturbing of all is the fact that he claimed before the judge that he killed his partner in order to draw inspiration for his poems. He even read out a bizarre poem before the sentencing and denied he was a ‘maniac, murderer, (and) cannibal’.
He was convicted to 19 years in jail for murder committed with extreme brutality.
For those of you that find this sentence to be too mild for the deeds done, keep in mind that Russia’s Criminal Code has no article referring specifically to cannibalism.
