In the night heavy with punishment
The vampires the ogres the ghosts
Howl at death in the darkness
Terrible funeral incantations.
The sad deceased with bruised bodies
Leave their tombs to sow fear
In this long, very cold night
Where the living pray for the spirits to depart.
Tonight the abyss of the Erebus is open
And Satan the magnificent in a foreign God
Roams the overcast sky with his red eyes
Before announcing to those he has resuscitated That
Halloween is the cradle of hatred
And that infamous monsters must enter the scene
So that cathedrals with miserable cottages
The shivers and the fears coming from the cemeteries
Haunt and terrorize the hearts
Of those who believe in the virtue of the soul
And who in anguish and in tears
Beg the evil to spare them from its flames.
